Growing environment

Light: Outside, about 4 hours of direct sun.

Humidity: Outside

Soil type: 3 parts peat, 1 part sand

Water:

Use distilled water only

Always keep it sitting in at least an inch of water

The cape sundew, one of the easiest of the carnivorous plants to grow and the first one I purchased!

I originally grew it under T5HO lights but for the past year I've grown it outside and it is just as happy there.

Watch out for the seeds! These will spread throughout your collection if you give them the chance.
