ABOUT

Hello!

I'm a carnivorous plant enthusiast and I especially enjoy growing Utricularia and Pinguicula. I also enjoy crocheting and like to blend my two interests as you can see below.

U. vulgaris, the first Utricularia I found in the wild!

Projects
Crochet N. Bicalcarata

One of the most iconic pitcher plants (and one of my personal favorites), this was the first plant that I crocheted.  At some point I hope to crochet some tiny ants marching along the stem to represent the mutualistic relationship they have with ants in the wild.

Crochet N. jacquelineae

This was a fun one to make! The flared peristome was especially challenging but really made it look nice. I made two different color morphs.

Crochet N. lowii

Shrew still to come!
